tc helicon voice live 2 and live rack

hi all.I asked this question a wile back.has anyone used the tc helicon voice live 2 in a live gig on harmonies and was it a usable product.thanks for any help .ps.I am wanting to use this with a band so fairly loud on stage !

A friend of mine uses helicon products to great effect (not the one your mention) but to get the best out of them you have to work at them like you would with any other instrument. It took him a summer season in corfu to get the best out of his gear! he uses them with his one man acoustic show at its something to use strategically - it's easily overdone. I haven't heard one used in a full band set up yet but I should imagine it would take a little working out as the end product tends to sound much 'thicker' than human harmonies even after careful setting.

I heard a guy in a jazz / crossover combo using one with a sax and it sounded great! Like 2, 3 sax-players playing together. The sound was very natural.

 

On vocals, I don't know. You want to use it on (human) voices, I guess?
