I running an educational workshop and I’m limited to using windows movie maker 2.6 and need a camera that records in a format which does not need converting to work with windows movie maker.. Any suggestions? Not as easy as that.... you've clearly realised that there's WMM, then there's WMM - several versions.It's also the case with AVI. There are many different 'versions' of AVI.It could use cinepak codec, MS RLE codec, DV, mpeg4 and many more.
