lemaitre speed fogger.

Been offered a lemaitre speed fogger, bloke said it was working fine, he's lent it to me to test out, and its dead.

I'll see him again tomorrow, just to check there isnt anything obvious im missing.

 

Power comes on, light on the back, but according to the manual the DMX LED should also come on.

 

it doesnt.

Fuses all ok

power is getting round the inside, heater etc, but getting no heat. heater buzzes out fine.

 

obviously I wont be buying it if it doesnt work, but if theres a simple fix, I might be able to negotiate something.

 

any ideas?

 

oh, I dont have the original remote either, so no idea if thats "alternating red and green leds" as per the manual states it will if it needs return for service.

I would have thought that with a valid DMX signal you'd get a DMX confirmation light.

according to the manual

"with the speedfogger unheated and no DMX signal, the led sill start flashing red.

When the DMX signal is applied to the input socket, the led will shimmer red"

 

goes on to say when operational it flashes green/red and full temp shimmer green.
