stevep
on powering up a sirius 24 it displays an error "IPL Failed" the user manual indicates this is an Inter Processor Link - but that should only occur on a sirius 48 - anyone got ideas on how to fix it? stevep
thanks for the thread links but It didn't help.. the super user check returns an error "IPL fault 5.1" - it's a backup desk anyway and it still works as a 2-preset desk, but would've been nice to get the rest working! tbjhilton
This often occurs on our Sirius 24, when starting up in a cold hall on a cold morning. If this is the case for you, try leaving it on for a while to warm up (half hour, an hour, maybe more) and then switch off and on again. Has always worked for me! During productions I tend to leave the desk powered up 24/7 through the show week which avoids this issue.
