sjbvision Posted March 1, 2005 Share Posted March 1, 2005 I have a ill sony uvw-100p and am looking to get it repaired. It powers up but the tape mechcanisim seems to be stuck open. The camera was recently dropped onto its battery compartment which I've replaced. So suggestions on people who can repair it or ideas why I can't get it closed would be greatly recieved.Steve Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
JCoster Posted March 1, 2005 Share Posted March 1, 2005 When you say 'stuck open' do you mean that you can't physically close it as in, you can't move it at all, or that you can push it to the right position but it won't latch to close? If the latter, the chances are that a small piece of plastic or metal dropped off or bent when you droped it.
