litemog
I'm plotting a show on an old Strand 300 desk. ( at least second hand to the venue it is in). I can't load anything into the second playback. Is this a fault with the desk, or is there some obscure setting that disables it?
IRW
What exactly are you trying to achieve? You do realise the X2 playback isn't a second playback in the 'modern' sense (in that you can't run an entirely separate cue stack on it, but you have to assign cues from the main stack to X1 or X2). There is a setting on one of the setup pages to enable it, and specify what mode.
jonathanhill
I also recall that you have to assign the channels controlled by X1 and X2 via groups.
IRW
I also recall that you have to assign the channels controlled by X1 and X2 via groups. Not necessarily- Groups 999.3 (PB1) and 999.4 (PB2) are automatically populated with all channels by default.
jexjexjex
One of the set-up screens allows you to set what GO button does what. I can't remember exactly what your options are, but I know that you can't exclusively run GOx2.
litemog
Thanks for the replies. I wasn't trying to achieve any particular effect, I just became aware while I was plotting that I couldn't load anything from the cue stack into playback 2. It was a fairly basic show, and therefore not a problem.
