Why are there two data ports on the EW100 G3 receiver?

Question is in the title.

My EM100 G2 receivers had one data port, the new EM100 G3 receiver has two. Given then manual states these are for servicing only - why would anyone need two?

The manual doesn't say. It's not at all important, I'm just curious.

Thanks,

Alan G

I would assume that it's so they can be daisy chained and several serviced simultaneously
