leejlight
ETC are currently fixing our congo jr main console, they have sent us one of their spare ones to use in the mean time. Since connecting it up, some of the commands are not responding. We are having trouble with using the 'thru' command. For example, we can't simply put 1 thru 12 @50%. This will only bring up channel 12 at 50. I know there are other ways but im not sure why its not responding. Is there anything in settings that needs to be changed? etc. Thanks
AndyJones
When you first turn the console it will load up to a screen with either 'system', or 'advanced setting's' as one of the options (before clicking "start server") In the system settings you will then find a check box called AT mode. If you enable that then you should get the sensible command line back, rather than the absolutely ridiculous '# ch # thru on'

Tomo
Congo has three different syntaxes available for the "set channel 5 to 67%" command, so you can select the one you prefer. The syntax is chosen in System Settings > General tab. "Avab" mode is the default, every command is # [thing]:5 [Ch] 67 [@Level] "At Mode" is a common choice, this gives you double-digit level entry for channels, groups and effect playbacks:[Ch] 5 [@Level] 67 "At Mode Point Style" changes At Mode into single-digit level entry:[Ch] 5 [@Level] 6 [.] 7 If you're in At Mode you'll see the "@ Mode" indicator in the bottom-right corner of each screen so you can quickly confirm that the console is using the syntax you prefer.- In more recent version of Congo this indicator is also shown top-right of the Welcome screen before you start Congo. Just Some Bloke
we can't simply put 1 thru 12 @50%. This will only bring up channel 12 at 50. '1 thru 12 thru @50' works.
