Telehandlers:

 

Depends on the qualification that you want.

If you want to work on building sites you need a Citb (I think ) qualification, which takes about 5 days.

But for the entertainment industry, the training company's basic compentance of use is all that is needed ( in my experience). You can then get insurance and most plant operators are more than happy to hire to you.

Also CITB is at least 3times the cost.

The people who trained me as an instructor were Train-a-lift I would advise you to give them a bell. They are very competitive.

You need to be certified to use a telethingo?

 

Last time I just walked into the venue, hung a few fixtures on the side and pressed the on button... no one seemed to mind...

 

or am I talking about something different?
