Linking Capture Polar to Compulite VC

I hope someone can help me out here,

 

I am trying to link my compulite vector on PC to capture polar.

 

vector PC is on currently running off a computer with windows xp installed

and capture is running from a laptop with windows 7.

 

I wish to link them together so I can control the fixture in capture through vector PC

 

both computers are wireless enabled and are connected to the same network

You need to run an Ethernet cable between the computers. Make sure the vector computer has the capture driver installed. Make sure the vector outputs are set to VC in the settings menu.

 

In capture make sure automatic connection is turned on and fixtures are patched to the same channels and universes that the vector is too.
