more smoke effects

Never tried it, but I'd guess it could work if the ducting is thin enough, the holes are big enough, and the dry ice is introduced into the ducting with sufficient pressure to make going through the holes the easiest option of escape. Then it would probably go up a wee bit and then cling to the stage in a dry-icey sort of way. Good luck. :(

I've done this with smoke rather than ice and it did work. I used 2" square section downpipe screwed along the stage lip. Square section is more efficient as it will eliminate the swirling that you'd get in round pipe.

Watch out for pressure build-up if using dry-ice with small holes.
