jason.fallon
http://www.dbaudio.com/en/systems/black-range/v-series/ Looks like the Q really. Is it bigger/smaller?
dco_uk
I think is is aimed at being somwhere between Q and J
BlueShift
Kind of... What this is is J technology in a smaller package. Its a proper outfill solution for J rigs and a good mid scale solution when the client wants J but the SPL requirements and venue wont really allow for it. In many ways is a much nicer solution than Q. Q is often too narrow for smaller scale applications, and definately not wide enough for a typical J outfill requirement. abnexo
In many ways is a much nicer solution than Q. Q is often too narrow for smaller scale applications, and definately not wide enough for a typical J outfill requirement. There is a 5 degree difference in horizontal dispersion between a j8/q8 and a q1. I have successfully hung q out fills on J rigs for years. Having said that, I'm looking forward to trying something new http://www.blue-room.org.uk/public/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif
