J Pearce
I sent works XP57 to justprojectors. I can't recall the prices from memory, but give them a call or email, it wasn't silly money and it was a good service.
sleepytom
QED offer the best Sanyo cleaning service that I have used. The difference between what QED do and what lower cost service places offer is like the difference between night and day. http://www.qed-productions.com/services-projector-servicing.cfm
AHYoung
I use Multicare in Leeds, http://www.multicare.org.uk/ They have repaired and cleaned a wide variety of units for us and are who Sanyo themselves would use so they certainly arnt one of the "lo cost " places you hear so much about. From memory an Optical clean on a XP should cost about 100 plus the Vat. A full strip and clean in the case of fluid contamination costs about double. You effectively get a new projector back, invest in a new lamp and youl be amazed by the brightness and quality... Its worth noting that the xp56 had particularly rubbish undersised filters that need cleaning more often than you will, Try and clean the filters often and you will lesten the amount of gremf on the optics and prolong the life of the panels and lamp.
