AHYoung
Any real world experience with electrovoice q1212 amp? its a simple application, replacing a {dead} amcron 3600 driving into 2.7 oms a side in a club. the bins are 3 jbl 15s and its the non standard bottom end of a deltamax system so the sense inputs are connected and the processor must be reasonably well calibrated as there is plenty bass with no dead drivers. The amcrons done stearling service but ten years breathing in smoke and running at full power have finally taken their toll and its time to replace it ideally with a 3 rather than 4 figure pricetag. The ev units been recomended and fits the bill specs vs price, but thats never the whole story... any opinions?
fliggygeek
THe Ev is a pretty reasonable amp, its quiet and stable, theyre not the heaviest either, but as it sounds like, you want it for an install. Not quite sure its the same build and indestructability that you get from an EV P3000 or a decent crown/amcron but its certainly not going to dissapoint you.
