timtheenchanteruk
I need to reproduce a '78 sound, got the obligitory pops and clicks sorted, but its still too "hi-fi" so far my attempts at tweaking the EQ still have not got me the stereotypical '78 sound, does anyone know what the typical frequency response of a 1930s radiogram would have been?? Sorted. for reference, found a FREE vst compatible with most DAW, izotope. izotope vinyl sim
Bobbsy
A ringing endorsement of the Izotope vinyl freeware. I've had a copy since it was a DX plug in and have found it useful more times than I can count. Hint: some of the deformations available can also work well to simulate old scratched optical sound tracks on film when you need that effect!
