andylights
Hi BR... Has anyone been on the Stage Electrics Hog training? How did you find the course? Useful? Well structured? And from what angle did you approach the course - any prior experience, background from other desks... that sort of thing. Reasons for asking, I don't know Hog at all (I'm on the Avo bus..) and the supplied desk on a show recently was a Hog II, which I asked to be swapped out.So perhaps given their popularity, it's time to learn another way of doing things. Regards, Andy BUGGER ! I meant to search before posting and forgot - reading the other stuff now...
Joe Bleasdale
Hog is a powerful desk and it's syntax is very logical, for example... GROUP 1 ENTER - selects group 11 THRU 5 COLOR 10 ENTER - applies color palette 10 to the selection. There are some starter training videos on the HES website which should help you. There are some differences between the Hog 2 and Hog 3. I'm assuming your learning the 3... It's makes more sense for you to learn the 3 to be honest. If it's the trainer I think teaching the course then you won't have a problem learning it - he is VERY good. Good luck :) Thanks.
