Work in London

Hi folks, really silly question

 

I've been living over in England for a year and a half since moving form Ireland, I would very much like to move down to London to work, but I never seem to see many jobs advertised in the stage and also I don't wish to tie myself to the theatre, I've always been more involved in concert lighting and sound system install, foh mixing etc. Is there somewhere else to look for jobs in this field?

 

Any advice hints tricks etc much appreciated

Sounds like you need to do the rounds of the hire houses and event production companies. There are loads of them around London - get yourself a copy of the White Book or similar, and hit the phones!
