Big Jay
Hi, Im playing with the demo version with a consideration to purchasing, One question, can you rotate the lamp in a ParCan within CAD? Moment, it always goes horizontal and thats it plus! Can you soften the edge on a profile fixture like the source 4? J
J Pearce
Lamp rotate is in fixture properties, as is lamp type. Right click on the fixture and it's labelled as lamp angle. Profile softening wasn't possible when I trained on wyg, but they were talking about it.
DonkiDonki
I am currently using R25 and that allows focusing and soft beams on generic fixtures (but not moving lights).
tom_the_LD
It's also worth noting. If you create a shortcut to the PAR, so in the left hand side under fixtures right click and click create shortcut. Right click on that shortcut and click properties, you can then specify lamp type and rotation on there. That way whenever you click that shortcut, it automatically puts the correct lamp in with the rotation you usually use. Whereas dragging from the library it doesn't. I usually set up a CP62, CP61 and CP61 shortcut before I do much else!
