Hi,

 

I would just like to run something by the forum.

 

I am considering a purchase of 2 x JBL Eon 305 Speakers which are rated at 250w RMS, 500w Program and 1K Peak.

 

The amp I am going to buy is the Crown LPS 2500 which pushes 550w per channel into 8 ohms.

 

Is this combination Ok to use - with very occasional clipping? (The system may be hired to people 'volume happy')

 

Also, which is better - EON 305 or Mackie C300z?
