ronknights Posted March 31, 2011 Share Posted March 31, 2011 Hi,Just picked up a pair of used PS15s, whilst both seem in pretty good condition, listening to them there is a big difference in the HF response. One has a good 15db less around 1.5k but 6db more at 17K than the other. I've had them apart, swapped the crossovers, etc and it seems the problems are in the compression drivers. Had them in bits, both have some rust in the magnets, but the diaphrams are intact, one has a tiny bit of an indentation though. Any thoughts on the best options? New diaphrams of new complete units?
