LampTramp
HiI had this with some of our hire units with the colour wheel and gobos. We just reset the unit (in the menu) powered off and fired it up again and that sorted it.
blip2
If it's a problem that continues happening after a reset and there is still no error message the stepper motor is likely miscounting (ie broke) and needs replaced.
maxjones2000
We have this problem on one of the mac 250+ at the theatre where I volunteer. It turns out that the sensor has slipped a little, meaning that when the gobo wheel should be on gobo A, its actually between A and B because the sensor has slipped a bit round the wheel. They havent been able to fix it, but getting them serviced by a local hire company managed to diagnose the problem and reduce it slightly (I can find out how if you want). Hope this helps :)
