trailers

Recommended Posts

I had a call today from a friend who's looking to buy "a 30ft trailer, either curtainside or box, twin or single axle". It's a bit out of my area - I would suggest talking to Paul Matthews or Luckings or similar to see if they have anything surplus to requirements, anyone else have any bright ideas?

All trailer units owned and used by the major companies like Edwin Shirleys, Stardas, Fly By Nite, Stage Truck, Redburn Transfer etc are step frame air ride units and have ramps (truck and dance floor) and ramp storage under the truck body. A number of companies such as Stardas also find the Maxi Cube trailers very popular.

A bog standard trailer (ie not step frame air ride) will be a crock of ####! And remember a good driver is worth his weight in gold!
