A colleague at work needs a Fostex FR2 field recorder (or similar) for a sound lecture tomorrow at Bristol University (the one we ordered in specially for it is damaged). If anyone has any ideas of where to get one at such short notice, or could even quote me for hiring one it would be much appreciated. Unfortunately, there's no other department that would have any need for such a thing. Strictly speaking, that equipment doesn't fall under AV anyway, I was just trying to help one of the lecturers out. UWE sounds like a good bet, though they're not picking up their phone just now.
