For an upcoming showcase production at my college (Colchester Institute) we are attempting to source 2 Church Pews, for use between approx 7th-14th of February. These would need to seat 4 persons on each and would ideally either be on casters or easy to lift. We've already tried a couple of local churches, but they tend to cement theirs into the floor apparently, and also found them on hire for about £25 a piece, but £300 shiipping from Manchester is a bit much for a couple of numbers in a one-nighter. Construction is another option being looked at, but we'd rather hire or borrow given the timescale, and essays we have due at the moment! Any ideas / sources I can pass on to my SM team?
