Lost any gobos?

Not sure that this is the right forum, but it brings it to the attention of the lighting folk.

 

Have you lost any gobos? A fair old quantity of them have recently been dumped on me by a company that seems to think they belong to me, but they don't. Included in the pile is a pair of brass ones with the legend "??? Summer School" on them. If you can give me a reasonable description (roughly how many, what they are stored in, and an idea of what else you expect to find with them, etc) then we'll see about repatriating them.

IIRC they turned up, might be wrong but I think a different hire company found them and returned them.

I think they were spirited away by the maintenance dept along with a load of tools.

Suggestion (Assuming no one claims them within a reasonable time)

 

List what's all there and either

 

A.) Flog them off on the forum for about £1 each;

 

or

 

B.) FLog the whole lot off in a single sale.

 

In both cases, the proceeds be donated to the Blue Room.

It's a thought that had crossed my mind, Jex; I'll give it until after the New Year and see what's come up, if anything. If nowt happens I'll see if the Blue Room wants them to sell for funds.
