law99
What sort of budget do you have? There are £99 desks, then there are also ~£40,000 desk!
haymere
What sort of budget do you have? There are £99 desks, then there are also ~£40,000 desk! Well there is a jands 408 desk to be sold so the proceeds of that guessing about £
tom_the_LD
I might be missing the point here, but why do you want to control generics from the strand? Why not have everything on the one desk? Would make things easier in my opinion!
hypnotic_monkey
Freestyler, Enttec Open & a laptop. Cheap, simple and reliable!
nickjones
...But make sure it's a dedicated laptop, not just one that you use for everything else. If you just run Freestyler you will be sorted, but by running everything else you put yourself at a much higher risk of failure...
Martinman
Hi there,(sorry for the centered text)The Transcention JC1 DMX baby is probably what you're looking for, I'm not sure on the specifics, but it has the joystick, and "DJ like" layout. It's also worth mentioning that using a MIDI surface with your DMX software will also enhance the functionality when running your fixtures. I hope this helps you out in some way ! Moderation: edited to get rid of the centred text!!
