sam.henderson Posted October 17, 2004 Posted October 17, 2004 Right here is the problem: I recently got a pair of Beyer DT440's (lovely headphones and great service from 10 out of 10!) but some plonker (I dont know what he did!!) managed to unattach the spoungy bits (the name escapes me at present) from the headphones. Paul (from 10outof10 suggested I should warm them up and reatach but that didnt work so any other ideas people?? Many Thanks Sam
tlc Posted November 1, 2004 Posted November 1, 2004 Canford Audio do a full range of replacement spares for the Beyer DT range tho mainly for the DT100 DT108 DT109 (also some for DT48 DT220) They may be able to source replacement earpads for you It may well be the earpads for the other models work for the DT 440(tho the DT440 do use round rather than oval shaped pads) Ask Canford for advice (phone), they are usually very helpful I have replaced earpads on the other models (they get very unsavoury when used long term for Q comm) The new pads fit on fairly easily
