I had a disaster with my HD24 yesterday.HD was working normely suddenly Elect. voltage flextuate and the HD starts shows " SCANNING 90% COMPLETE ". after some while it shows" CHECK DISK JUMPER" & " NO DISK ". I replace the drivewith other then it shows " SCANNING 92% COMPLETE ".then I replace the drive with a new 40GB. this time the HD response normaly . then I selected a new song, name it and start workig with the load of 16 tracksHD shoes the LED's status of the each track fine. I recorded the content of aprox. 2 hrs. and ocupied the disk space as well. but amazing when I play backthe tracks nothing comes out nor the track shows any kind of sound & LED shoes blank and nothing heard. kindly tell me the solution may be its a kind of software problem. thanks & waiting for your earliest +ve response zahoorjury Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
noiseman Posted June 16, 2010 Share Posted June 16, 2010 Sounds like the data you recorded is most probably still on the drive but as the hard disc was shut down unexpectedly it did not put in the "markers" to say it had recorded something. Try downloading this utilitiy:http://ringbreak.dnd.utwente.nl/~mrjb/hd24tools/ It may be of use to recover the "lost" data. I would suggest getting a UPS to avoid this happenong again.
