Now it's more than just personal !

Wavicle Ltd. has taken the first steps into the broader field of LED lighting, with the introduction of two ranges of competitively priced LED light bulbs, designed for the direct replacement of existing lamps.

The Hyperion range of LED lamps features arrays of multiple, ultra-bright LEDs and produce a soft, "spotlight" type pool of light onto the surface at which they are directed.

Each model is available in six colours, including warm and cool white, with a choice of two beam angles. A selection of popular lamp bases is available for many models, including BA15 bayonet (single or double point), GU10, E14 and E27 screw and the range covers a variety of voltages. The 21 LED MR16 lamp makes an ideal replacement for the halogen "birdie" bulbs commonly used as downlighters over bars and in display cabinets.

The power savings offered by these lamps is incredible. The biggest model, a 165 LED PAR38 consumes just 10 watts and the 21 LED MR16 uses just 1.6 watts, making this range ideal for battery, or solar and wind powered lighting systems.

Hyperion lamps have a working lifetime of 50,000 hours and a manufacturer's warranty of up to two years, depending on the model.

The OptiLED Chipâ„¢ range uses high intensity one watt LEDs and is available in three models:-

The OptiLED Designer lamp offers a direct replacement for existing MR16 bulbs and will run at any voltage between 6 and 24 volts AC or DC

The OptiLED Commercial lamp will run at any mains voltage between 90 and 250 volts, enabling it to be used anywhere in the world without the need for additional transformers and is avalable with a standard UK bayonet, E14 or E27 screw and GU10 lamp bases.

Both the Designer and Commercial models can be fitted with wafer-thin, interchangeable diffusers, which offer users several beam width options, from a narrow 2° spot up to an 80° flood, with two elliptical beam patterns also available.

The OptiLED Festival bulb is designed to replace 60 Watt painted bulbs, but consumes just 2.5 watts of power. The unique design offers a better effect night and day, due to its UV-reactive coloured optic, which glows in the natural light of the sun.

Opalec NewBeamâ„¢ now available in BLUE

Our bestselling item, the Opalec NewBeam™ LED upgrade kit for the AA Mini Maglite® is now available with blue LEDs.

This version has been produced primarily with entertainment industry crews in mind, as blue is the standard colour for backstage working lights, although you don't have to work in a theatre to appreciate the amazingly cool looking blue light from this unit.

The Opalec NewBeam™ offers a highly cost effective means of converting a AA Mini Maglite® to a three LED torch. It features a current regulation circuit to give ten hours of constant, unfading light and a fourth, red LED to warn of low battery status.

The Opalec NewBeam™ puts the world's most reliable light source into the world's most popular torch. It is made from highest quality components and is so energy efficient that it will run on batteries which have "died" in other equipment, like radios or portable CD players. With a NewBeam™ in your Mini Maglite®, you'll never need to buy batteries for it again.
