London Eye - Power in capsules?

Hi All,

 

Just wondering if anyone knew if there were was any power available inside each of the pods at the London Eye?

 

 

On the London Eye website it says there isn't, but there can be if you ask......

 

 

I was under the impression a while ago that for the London NYE fireworks, Stage Electrics put lights inside each pod and ran them off a 13A cleaners socket in each?

 

 

Unfortunately I don't know anyone inside SLX.....

IIRC from when I went on it, there is a 16a CEE in each (well I saw one but I assume that it's in each) pod.

There are 2 x 13a sockets under the North side of the seating bench in each capsule. If you need more power you can lift a floor panel to access a 32a single phase socket.

 

Remember that anything going into the capsules needs to be securely strapped down.
