andylights
Of course what I forgot to add, was that it's for a LWB Sprinter and not a car.... Thanks, Andy
Calder
Trademan's parking ticket allows you to park in residential bays all day, about £20.00 a day. Calder
andylights
The trade parking suspension doesn't cover weekends. As it turned out, the hotel garage (around the corner) had been booked for us - and yes it took my Sprinter. It cost £40/24hrs. Perfect. johndenim
£40 for 24 hours? In what way is that perfect?! I'd want a security guard sat in my van for that!
andylights
How much is 24hr secure parking normally then over a weekend in London? I thought £40 was about average and not bad at all, as it was the hotels garage. I forgot, the client paid half, so even more perfect. I recently played at the crown plaza in the centre of Nottingham and the parking was £17, Which I had to pay myself.Though I did get a hotel room for free. andylights
You are in for a shock the next time you're parking London in then! As mentioned above, the trade bay suspension is normally the way to go, but it doesn't operate over a weekend. Most of the car parks around Mayfair have height restrictions, so to be told after the unload "drive round the corner and your van will be parked for you", was really quite lovely.
