GSX Console Number - Where to find it?

Hi there,

 

I hope someone can help :)

 

I have recently acquired a Strand GSX with the standard 25 channel package.

 

I'd like to upgrade it to 50+ channels with Kaleidoscope. Thing is I need the 18 digit console security number, which I dont have.

 

I do have an original set of software discs complete with six digit serial numbers.

 

According to the manual and a guy at strand the console number can be seen "at the bottom of the output screen" however I can't see that.

 

Can anyone suggest where I can get this number?

 

The console is running version 1.2g if that helps any.

 

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not too familiar with GSX's, but on a 300/500, it is at the bottom of the 'Report' screen.

IIRC you have to go to the setup screen and all information about the desk is displayed there in the bottom right of the screen. However when I put in a quote to upgrade my console they only needed the serial number.

Yes, it's on the setup screen. Right hand side towards the bottom, labelled CONS under configuration.
