Tom Baldwin
Does anybody have a chart of the colour codes used by VLPS Greenford/ PRG to indicate cable length? I'm sure I used to have one, but it seems to have wandered... Thanks! Tom P.S. specifically interested in DMX cable, in case they used multiple codes for different types of cable! timperrett
This is very sad that I am responding on a friday night to this sort of post but here we are, I just have it because we use the same colour coding as PRG on our cable...the first colour is the one nearest the connector... 1m Orange2m Yellow3m Green5m Purple10m Orange-Red20m Yellow-Red30m Green-Red50m Purple-Red Oh - and all cable types are the same to my knowledge! Tom Baldwin
Sad? Maybe, but definitely useful and appreciated! Thanks Tim
JohnPartridge
I work for PRG and these are the correct colour codes and they do apply to all cable types we stock. Except for S400 cable I believe.
