Event Lighting
Skytec low fogger thermal fuse.Does anybody know where this is located in the unit and how easy it is to replace? Hi,The fuse is normally fitted near to the heater block. It will be in a sleeve so you will not be able to see it easily. There are many types so you will need to check the temperature rating on the one that is in there. You will need to crimp the new one in place, you can not solder it as it will blow from the heat of the soldering iron.RegardsJon
KevinE
Yep agree with Jon, and because it's a skytec it is more likely to be a thermal fuse in glassfibre sleeving rather than a ceramic min-clik that the more professional ones use. http://media.digikey.com/photos/Cantherm%20Photos/SDJ1%20DF110S,%20SDJ1%20DF104S,%20SDJ1%20DF098S.jpgYou may have to dig about a bit in the heater lagging to find it. Some are bolted to the top of the block with a p-clip, others are just tucked in there or strapped to the inlet pipe with a brass cable-tie.
