Here you can download both the Grand MAnual and an onPc version of the particular type you're goeing to program. 

 

If you're extra keen, also download the GrandMa 3D. This is a good visualizer witch will help you try out the MA before getting to proging :** laughs out loud **: You can also program and edit your show to when you get the real desk.

I cannot recommend enough that you get hold of the OnPC and 3D and spend some time getting your head around the console. Without knowing your previous Programming Experience, it's difficult to tell you where to start or practice in particular.

 

The MA's are a great console, but they are not for the absolute beginner, there is a lot going on in them that you will understand considerably better if you have some understanding of a much simpler console like a pearl. Let us know what sort of show you are doing, and what your previous experience is and we should be able to give you a few useful pointers...
