karl Posted October 24, 2009 Share Posted October 24, 2009 Sorry this is a bit vague - I've just had a call from a friend who is in a village hall trying to get the Strand SD6 dimmers they have just bought to work. I'm not familiar with these so I couldn't offer much help. They have connected them up to the power supply and power seems to reaching them but there is no sign of life - no LEDs are lit on the front and the the fans aren't running. I just wondered if anybody knows of anything that might be the issue (hidden power switches or what have you). I down loaded the manual but that didn't shed much light on things. I'm going to take a look tomorrow but just thought I'd see if anybody has any helpful info first. A concurrent post has been automatically merged from this point on. OK, please ignore this I've had another call to say they have solved the problem. When they had the power supply installed who ever did it hadn't connected th neutral up correctly!
