johanlundin88
I don't have much experience of stage lightning. I'm wondering if anyone of you people have any ideas about how to make a stage background with light from behind as in the movie Flashback. See this videoclip:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJZzRDub1_4 Im very happy for any kind of help.Thank you in advance.
gareth
An expanse of BP (back projection) screen material with whatever light sources are appropriate to the size of the surface and the depth available behind it (cyc floods being the simple solution, but there are other ways around it if depth is limited). Just Some Bloke
As Gareth says that video is using a BP cyc, but had they been making it today they would almost certainly have used EvenLED which allows you to have a very even lighting with individual areas in any colour you like and using very little space behind the screen. You'll need a much higher budget but if you have one it will be worth it!
