Can anyone point me in the right direction for insurance? Also, does anyone know any lease companies who specialise in pro audio equipment? We have used Lombard who have been able to help every time so far. That said the value might not have been at the level they wanted to deal in. For the widest cover available, try Allen Chapman & James (ACJ) on 01206 500000 or www.acjltd.co.uk . They have special schemes with Zurich Insurance and Royal Sun Alliance, custom designed for our industry, therefore tailored to dry hire and wet hire situations, also covering hired-in kit when needed. I was tearing my hair out yesterday sorting the hire purchase on our new van and not being totally happy with the rate I ended up with either! Then my font of small business knowledge (aka my dad) suggested I rang my relationship manager at Natwest / RBS. I did so, he got a chap from Lombard to ring me, all sorted in an hour or so, much better rate and they handle all the paperwork. Smooth operations.
