Beacon
I don't think it is in the near future. They have just auditioned new children for the show. J

James C
For confirmation, according to SLX website: Mary Poppins plays it's world premiere at the Bristol Hippodrome on 28th September before transferring to London's Prince Edward theatre in December. So even if it does open at the Palladium, it'll be in the dark, because SLX will have delivered the kit to the Prince Edward!

Just Some Bloke
Just imagine. technicians carrying the kit through londons streets from the Prince Edward to the Palladium!!! ML :(<{POST_SNAPBACK}> ...whereas when Les Mis moved from the Palace to the Queen's they could easily have just carried everything (with the aid of a bogey for some of the set obviously!) as it's only just down the road!
