Thor_Thunder_God
Hey folks, iv been doing live sound for a too many years now and have settled by working in a studio for local bands give them somewhere to have rehearsals and to record a few demo tracks. I have a Allen and Heath ZED 24 and I have lost the free copy of cakewalk that comes with it but am going to buy a new one if somebody could let me know if using that piece of software and the desk does it record only as one layer or would it record all the channels on the desk on different layers in cakewalk. Thanks.
DanHerbert
The ZED-24 USB connection only lets you record the left & right outputs, not individual channels! More information can be found in the manual or on their website http://www.allen-heath.co.uk/zed/zed-24.asp Hope this helps! Dan
