Steve Thomas
So the lead singer (aka the wife) has lost her Shure PSM 200 earphones at a gig and we now need replacements. I believe that the earphones lost were Shure SCL2 which to replace retails at about £60, so if we're going to have to spend that type of money is there better replacements out there or should I just go like for like? Rob_Beech
If she was happy with those then I see no reason to get another pair like it. After all, they're not really something you can try out very easily for obvious reasons. You could get something that 3 or 4 people recommend and your wife may not get on with them at all. TimmyP1955
If they are available on your side of the pond, check out the M-Audio IE-10. They sound very good, have replaceable cables, and are pretty affordable ($99USD).
RustyBrooks
Im with rob, if it aint broke, don't fix it.. I liked the scl2s a lot, only moving to e5s or whatever theyre called now, after the 2s broke after a long and happy life... and have to say, not a huge amount of difference, just new ones are louder.
