aidso Posted September 4, 2009 Share Posted September 4, 2009 Hey all wondering if anyone out there had any pulsar rackpak(old ones) I have three all with channels down on them. they all have channels 1+6 down and two have channels 2+3. I have tried swopping triacs and optos about with no joy. Not that familiar with these dimmers know betapacks better. just wondering is there anything else the usually goes before I start going through them with a meter? aidso Posted September 10, 2009 Author Share Posted September 10, 2009 ok so I have tracked down the problem with most of the channels. the track on the PCB between the emitter of the triac and the output connector was gone, I mean gone not a trace left. so a bit of solid core cable and some soldering sorted them. I do have one channel still that isn't working. I get voltage in to the triac and the control voltage but nothing out. I have tried working triacs but with no joy. any ideas?
