Samwise
Hello all, I recently had a freelancer plug two of my GLP Ypoc 250s into a dimmer line. Needless to say they stopped working pretty promptly. One of the units was saved by it's on board fuse which after being replaced brought the unit back in to full working order. The other unit however did not blow it's fuse and now fails to power up at all. I wasn't at the gig, but supposedly the unit didn't go bang. I've had a look at the mains boards and there appears to be no obvious damage to any of the components or transformers. Can anybody suggest what might be wrong with the unit, or even how to diagnose the problem? KevinE
Have you checked the mains transformer pri for continuity? Measure the resistance of a good one across the 13A plug pins then do the same on the duff one.

Richard CSL
Have you checked the IEC mains inlet socket as these have a built in fuseholder normally with either a 3.15 amp fuse or a 6.3amp fuese.
