wellpleased
HiI know you can use Flambar on fabrics so they meet H&S standards for use at events. However, we are planning an event which uses cheap oriental paper lanterns with hanging stringy bits - the kind you get in your local Chinese restaurant. Is there a product on the market which can be used to make the lanterns 'safe'?Any thoughts would be appreciated.CheersSam
andy_s
there are several different types of Flamebar available for treating a variety of materials, including paper. a quick glance at the flints catalogue tells us that Flamebar Solution S1WA2 is suitable for lightweight natural materials, including cotton, etc, muslin, paper. You should get coverage of about 10 metres squared from 1 litre of solution.

hadyn.williams
The last time I had to flame proof chinese lanterns (from ikea) I found that flamebar S3 actually proved more successful than S1WA2.
