Bobbsy Posted July 27, 2009 Share Posted July 27, 2009 For those of you who, like me, enjoyed Dave Rat's "Roadies in the Midst" blog when he was touring with the Chilli Peppers, he's back on tour again, this time with Blink 182 and seems to be blogging again HERE. The last couple of posts are about how he's using his new K1 system for the tour and contain some interesting thoughts about various sub layouts--good reading for anyone interested in sound. Kevin Ross Posted August 4, 2009 Share Posted August 4, 2009 I am also an avid follower of Sir David of Rat and was reading with great interest about the vortex sub setup, very interesting. I was going to model the same idea but in a centre cluster for an upcoming outdoor show but think for now I will stick with a good old centre cluster with some delay to steer the energy forwards away from the house behind the stage.
