simschr
Hi,I remember reading a while back an article by Rob Halliday on his programming of Mary Poppins and the problem that the show file was too large to back up on floppy so instead he used an Iomega Zip drive. I am wondering on here if anyone has had any experience running a Zip drive under Strand OS? And if so would they mind lending a hand telling me how they did it? I have a standard Zip 100 parallel drive and a console running 2.8.6. Thanks,Chris
3guk
From what I remember you have to connect a ZIP drive to the parallel printer port then add a line to the userexec.bat file, I'll be damned if I can remember the line though, it is years since I have dabbled with ZIP drives and Strand Consoles.
