The course will be geared toward preparing Theatre Sound students and more advanced Technical Theatre students for working in the industry. Students will be exposed to the full scope of disciplines involved in sound for theatre, including application training from Yamaha and d&b Audiotechnik, specialist sessions on show control, radio microphones, video, communications and networking, and a chance to chat to industry-leading designers, engineers and technical specialists. Orbital Sound has been running a course for drama school students each spring since 2001; attendees from past years are now found at all levels of the industry. The fee for the course is £80 + VAT.
