blackbird Posted August 18, 2008 Share Posted August 18, 2008 The Martin homepage features dynamically changing videos, but after a few refreshes the one you refer to is a splash ad for the Mac III Profile, which according to LSI's preview is:based on a new platform boasting all round improved performance, the Mac III Profile features include a broader colour range to its colour mixing capability, a "much greater" output that existing Mac 2000 Profile, a wide zoom range, a "fat beam look with great definition" and a quiet cooling system ... No it's a little bite heavier but that's not a big deal.It's a totally new construction that constitutes a new generation of Martin moving heads. Although MAC 700 is a great platform they designed everything totally new from scratch, which resulted in a great new fixture platform that differs a lot from what you've seen so far in common moving heads.I'm not allowed to reveal further information at this moment, so stay tuned for PLASA...
