Jurien
Hello Bonjour !, I have a couple of question about the Marantz PMD 570 and/or 580card recorder. 1. Are the recordings of MP3 recordings, do they have the same sound quality as the one's I'm making on my computer with the Lame encoder ? Because they are made "on the fly" ? 2. If I connect my digital coax out from my Internetradio and the same for my digital out from the DAB tuner too the digital coax in connector of the Marantz, is the record-level then always coorect or do you still have to adjust the level ? 3. In old French audio magazine's they always talk about the DAC's of CD players. Has the Marantz also DAC's ? Thank You very much for your help ! smalljoshua
I can only answer the question about DAC's. DAC means Digital to analogue converter. The Marantz does have DAC's to convert the recorded digital tracks to analogue when you play them back. It also has ADC's these are the opposite of DAC's they convert the analogue input on the Marantz to a digital signal for it to record. grizzly
A read through the manuals (available to download here: http://www.d-mpro.eu.com/index2.php?lang=e...24&brand=1) should answer most of your questions.
