tom_the_LD
Hi guys, Local am-dram group DAOS are doing "The King And I" at the Grove Theatre. My mum and her friend are interested in doing flys. I suddenly thought, does one have to have a certificate in flying or take a course? Looking on google I can see many places offering courses but can't find any info on whether it is compulsary or not? Thanks Tom
Ike
No, you just need to know what you're doing (ie be competent).

J Pearce
For the record, knowing a bit of both DAOS and the Grove, I should think that Tom's mum and co would only be show flying. I'd be surprised if it was anything other than the Grove crew loading and unloading (at least fully supervising), then handing over the fully balanced fly rig to the amateur crew from DAOS.
